Reshma, who primarily appears in Tamil films, started subsequently working as a news anchor in English news for TV5, which gained popularity, giving her opportunities in the television serials across the Tamil industry. Born to a Telugu speaking family in Chennai, her father Prasad Pasupuleti is a well-known Telugu film producer. Her siblings are Sushma Bandaru and Deepti, who work as software engineers and Remya shares a zodiac sign of Leo with the wide public. Her cousin, Bobby Simha, is a famous actor in the Industries of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. She has worked as an air hostess and then switched into the media-entertainment career shortly.

Reshma Pasupuleti Bio and Movie Career
She did her schooling in USA and pursued her engineering degree from the University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford, Connecticut, the USA in Computer science and later did a 2-year curse from Amitysoft Software Institution, Chennai in Software Testing. She also worked briefly as an Air hostess with Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia (before coming to India) and as an English new broadcaster in channels such as Metro News and E-news. Reshma made her acting debut in the Tamil film Masala Padam (2015) playing opposite the debutant actor Gaurav and on TV for a Telugu TV serial titled Love Doctor in 2007. In the initial days of her career as an actress, she also served as a TV anchor and singer for the show Sun Singer.
Started her career as a news anchor, she got many opportunities leading to a handful of works for more anchoring jobs in popular TV5 shows such as Brilliant Mind, Big screens, Movie mantra, Hi5 and acting opportunities in serials. She has starred in the show Celebrity Kitchen as an anchor on the Gemini TV channel. Regarding to her performance in these, she was also starred in TV serials such as Vamsam that aired from June 2013 to November 2017 on Sun TV and Tamil Tv serial such as Sundharakandam during 2014-15 aired on Vendhar TV in which she played the role of a lady Sakti.
Subsequently appearing in several more films, she notably did her debut as a TV actress in the Tamil tele serial Vani Rani, which was aired a long time from January 2013 to December 2018. She played a notable character in the film Ko2, an Indian political thriller film as Shobana, a newsreader during 2016 and stared for Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, a comic film in 2016 alongside the actor Soori Pushpa Purushan, commonly known as Soori among the wider public in the role of Pushpa, a local dancer.
Some of the other Tamil tele serials staring at her are Andal Azhagar, Anbe Vaa, Uyire, Kannana Kanne, etc. Remya Pasupuleti then appeared in a Tamil and Malayalam bilingual horror thriller film about illicit relationships named Girls(Malayalam) and Thiraikku Varadha Kathai (Tamil version) in 2016 as Clara which came out with many negative responses. In 2019, appearing as a contestant in Big Boss Tamil Season 3, the reality show hosted by the Indian actor Kamal Hassan on the Vijay TV Channel gave her a huge fan following and wider public recognition.
