Bigg Boss is one of India’s biggest reality which was already streaming in different languages. As of now, we will be looking at the complete info regarding Bigg Boss Season 5. To those who are completely aware of the show, it’s a dutch Big brother show which was scripted and aired in our regional languages. Similarly, Bigg Boss Tamil was being aired in September 2017 and has completed 4 seasons to date.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 start date

Usually, Every season till now i.e season 1, 2, 3 and 4 were aired from June after the summer and it goes on for more than 100 days. Due to pandemic season, 4 was delayed and the same thing will be happening for the current 5th season as well. Makers initially planned to go on from June and the second wave of pandemic spoiled all the scheduled shoots of the starts which makes their dates unavailable. This might hurt the makers indirectly as they were looking to rope some famous celebrities on board for the season.

For now, Season 5 is postponed to September 2021. The date may be changed further regarding the number of cases and the covid situation in the country.

Taking down the memory lane, Arjuna won the season 4 title after spending 100 days whereas Balaji Murugadoss, Rio Raj, Ramya Pandian, and Som Shekar, fought for the votes until the finale and are back of Arjuna.

Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 Host

As usual, Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 will be hosted by Kamal Hassan(Rumours). Currently, he is busy with Vikram which is being directed by Lokesh. On the other hand, he is willing to complete Indian 2 which lands in the legal tussle. However, as of now kamal is in talks to complete both the projects by August and might join Bigg Boss post the shoots. Kamal hosted the 4th season as well including all the previous seasons which generated good TRP’s for the makers.

According to some reports out on internet,

Kamal is being busy with his movie and political events. So he might be unavailable for the seasons 5. Simbu and Silambarasan might also host the season. Everything will be finalised once the promotional material is out there. As of now, we are assuming Kamal might continue to be the host.

Bigg Boss Tamil 5 Contestants details

As we all know that, the Contestants of the Bigg Boss show will only be revealed in the first episode. However, there will be reports during the initial days based on the interviews. As far as we know, makers are on the hunt to approach the celebs and gain the attention of the audience big time. Currently, they are holding talks with some of the celebs via zoom meetings. They were expected to meet once the pandemic slows down.
